Since the release of the 3RV1 MCCB in November 2008, Siemens has had much success with this type-tested solution covering 550V and 690V applications.

Continuous product development and evolution have however resulted in this product range reaching the end of its production lifespan.

You our customers have helped us redesign and enhance the 3V1, which has now been replaced by the 3VA2 range, offering easy installation, better performance, communication capabilities and IE3/IE4 motor certification, amongst others.

As we enhance our portfolio, it is important that we migrate from the 3V1 range to the 3VA2 range.

Please take note of important dates laid out below regarding phase-out of the 3V1 range from Siemens.

Planed Milestone dates:

- PM400 (Phase out announce) : 01.10.2022

- PM410 (Product Cancellation) : 01.04.2023

- PM490 (Product Discontinuation) : 01.07.2023

Successor: The combination tests with SIRIUS devices (3VA2 E-class with high level of short current switching rating at 690V) are currently valid and meant to replace the 3RV1 tested combinations.
